Dr. Keene Wei Invited as Keynote Speaker at Shandong Overseas Returnees Association’s “Alumni Lecture Series”

On March 31, the fourth session of the Shandong Overseas Returnees Association’s “Alumni Lecture Series” was held in Jinan. Dr. Keene Wei, Founder and President of Viwit, was invited as the keynote speaker.
The event focused on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the National Two Sessions, consistent with the provincial United Front Work deployment. It aimed to strengthen ideological guidance, understand development trends, share cutting-edge knowledge, and promote the spirit of serving the nation, uniting overseas returnees to actively contribute to the construction of a modern, strong socialist province in the new era. Mr. Cheng Lin, Vice Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference and President of the Shandong Overseas Returnees Association, attended the event. Mr. Han Shenghao, Vice President of the Association and President of the Shandong University Overseas Returnees Association, hosted the event.
In his lecture titled “Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice,” Dr. Keene Wei shared his entrepreneurial journey, explaining how Viwit — driven by drug R&D and supported by multi-platform collaboration and international certification systems — has achieved a chain upgrade path of “import substitution → differentiated generics → innovative leadership.” He elaborated on five dimensions — setting direction, building teams, driving growth, managing operations, and staying true to the mission — offering practical insights for overseas returnees interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
After the lecture, Chairman Cheng Lin presented Dr. Keene Wei with the honorary “Alumni Lecture Series Keynote Speaker” award from the Shandong Overseas Returnees Association.
Dr. Keene Wei’s invitation to speak at this event reflects high recognition of his dedication to serving the nation through studying abroad, his technological innovation practices, and his corporate management achievements.
